Increased security checks now implemented at airports throughout China

Airports across China have raised security and Airport authorities have announced that all passengers are now required to go through anti-explosion screening before entering terminal buildings to check in. The airports where increased security is in affect, include:

  • Beijing Capital
  • Beijing Nanyuan
  • Shanghai Hongqiao
  • Shanghai Pudong
  • Guangzhou Baiyun
  • Shenzhen Bao’an
  • Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region
  • Tibet Autonomous Region
  • All airports located within Sinkiang and Tebit

To avoid rushing and missing flights, FCM recommends that passengers arrive at airports at least 2 hours before your departure
