Xiamen Air is due to launch its service from Melbourne to Hangzhou on 17 December with twice-weekly Boeing 787 flights. Taking off at 11:35am in Melbourne and arrived in Hangzhou at 7:05pm.
The aircraft offering first class, business class and economy class. Configured in a 1-2-1 layout in first class, passengers can lie on a 198cm-long beds. Business class finds a 2-2-2 configuration, which transforms into fully-flat beds.
Xiamen Air becomes the only airline offering non-stop flights between Melbourne and Hangzhou, the city 180km away from Shanghai.
Currently, Xiamen Air flies other Australian service such as Sydney to Fuzhou and Xiamen.
